About
Unoffically The Computer Store got its beginning in an apartment
and several mini storages. It did not take very long before it was
clear that this passion was quickly turning into a profession. The
Computer Store opened its doors officially in 1995 at our original
location on East Washington Ave in Madison,WI. Five short
years later in late 1999, we opened a second location in the High
Point Shopping Center in Madison, WI. In 2002 we consolidated
both locations to the High Point Shopping Center.
The Computer Store works closely with eCycle Partnership Inc to provide high quality used and refurbished computer equipment. In order to ensure proper recycling of end of life computer equipment, all equipment that is dropped off at The Computer Store is processed by eCycle Partnership Inc .
We strive to carry the best selection of new and used computer parts in the Madison area. All used components go through an exaughtisve testing process prior to being certified for resale. Our selection of new and used components, those little cables and connetors, laptop adapters, used laptops, used desktop systems, new and used LCDs, and many other components is always growing.
Our service department has been delivering reliable, honest, and ecconomical solutions for more than 16 years. We have thousands of customers who have to come to rely on our "Power Techs" for their computer and laptop repair needs.
